What is a Deskless Worker?
Employees that do not regularly work at a desk, in an office or have a dedicated workspace are referred to as deskless workers. There are many industries that rely on a number of frontline employees, such as health care, pharmacies, mobility and logistics, delivery businesses, food services and accommodation and hospitality, construction, and
many more.
It’s estimated that around 80% of workers worldwide are in fact deskless, that is approximately 2.7 billion people.
Deskless workers are usually on the front lines, they have very important roles as without them we would not be able to enjoy or use most of our daily products.
