General Cleanliness and Hygiene
Have the cleaning measures been reviewed to ensure that high-risk contact areas and points of contact are regularly disinfected?
Ensure that public areas such as counters, doorknobs and elevator buttons are disinfected regularly!
Have all employees been informed about the protocols for washing hands at work?
As hand washing is one of the most effective deterrents, employers must ensure that employees have access to washing facilities at all times and that these are well stocked with soap and (ideally) paper towels.These 5 steps should be followed each time:1. Moisten hands with clean, running water (hot or cold), turn off the tap and apply soap.2. Lather hands by rubbing them together with the soap. Lather the back of the hands, between the fingers and under the nails.3. Wash hands for at least 20 seconds. While doing so, hum the "Happy Birthday" song twice from beginning to end.4. Rinse hands well under clean running water.5. Dry hands with a clean towel or air dry.
