Fire Extinguishers
Fire extinguisher (must do at least 4 units)
Extinguisher number and location
Take picture of extinguisher including signs
Make sure that the extinguisher is in its designated place and is clearly visible
Check the visual inspection seal
Check the gauge to make sure it is in the green, CAP models have a red stem indicator
Check to make sure it is easily accessible, and no obstructions
Check and make sure the bracket is in good condition
Make sure the tag is up to date with inspections

Safety shower / Eye Wash Stations (must do at least ? units)
Safety shower / eye wash location
Take picture of unit including signs
Is the area clear and unobstructed for easy use?
Is the signage ok? Clean? Enough signs? Visible from a distance?
Portable unit?
Is the seal intact?
Is the eye wash solution still within its expiry date?
Stationary unit?
Test the unit. Does the water run tepid within a short amount of time?
If the unit has an alarm, did the alarm sound?
First aid kits
First Aid Kits (must do at least ? units)
First aid kit location and number
Take picture of unit including signs
Is the area clear and unobstructed for easy use?
Is the signage ok? Clean? Enough signs? Visible from a distance?
Is the seal broken on the unit?
Notify security that the unit has a broken seal and needs checking.
