Introduce patients to surroundings, including bathroom, use of the bed, and position of call light
Tell patients/families to call for assistance when required.
Use appropriately fining nonskid footwear.
Ensure ambulation as ordered.
Assess the patient's capacity to interpret information.
Assess potential medication side effects.
Keep assistive tools at bedside within reach.
Evaluate and assist the patient in the following daily routine (schedule):
Evaluate mobility and gait as required.
Evaluate mental status, cognition, and ability to do activities of daily living (ADL)
Evaluate medications daily.
