Sink, toilet, soap and paper towel holder at low enough to approach from wheelchair or standing.

Introduce patients to surroundings, including bathroom, use of the bed, and position of call light
Tell patients/families to call for assistance when required.
Use appropriately fining nonskid footwear.
Ensure ambulation as ordered.
Assess the patient's capacity to interpret information.
Assess potential medication side effects.
