This template enables quick and easy air quality walkthroughs. An in-house air quality technician or safety officer can use this checklist to ensure that the necessary permits for fossil fuel burning, incinerators, etc. have been obtained.

Do we have a permit for fossil fuel burning comfort-heating units?
Do we have a permit for permanent generators, turbines, or internal combustion engines with a power output of 150 horsepower?
Do we have a permit for incinerators?
Do we coordinate all refrigeration/air conditioning work with the Facilities & Services Refrigeration Shop?
Have we notified Facilities & Services Refrigeration Shop of all refrigeration/air conditioning units on site that have a capacity of ≥ 50 lbs?
Do we have a permit to be able to conduct open burning?
Do we have a permit for large scale printing operations?
Do we have a permit for degreasing operations?
Are degreasers closed when not in use?
Do we have a permit for a coating line that uses products containing volatile organic materials/compounds?
Do we have a permit for electroplating, anodizing, or electropolishing tanks?
Do we have a permit to melt or die cast metals?
Do we have a permit to melt or apply wax?
Do we have a license to apply adhesives within the facility?
Do we have a permit for extruders for metals, minerals, plastics, rubber or wood?
