Common questions

Can store teams submit photos and managers approve, comment, or ask for resubmissions?

Yes. Teams attach photos directly to inspection questions during a submission. Managers reviewing completed inspections can add comments and trigger a corrective action that routes back to the store, requiring them to respond, resubmit evidence, or confirm resolution. This gives you a documented loop: submission, review, follow-up, and closure. Every exchange is timestamped and stored against the original inspection record.

Can we attach brand guidelines and reference images to audit questions?

Yes, you can attach images, documents, and other reference materials directly to individual checklist questions. Auditors see the relevant guidance while completing the inspection, helping them compare actual conditions against approved standards without switching between systems.

Will photos link directly to the specific question they were taken for?

Yes. When a field team member takes or uploads a photo during an inspection, it attaches to the specific question it was captured for. In the completed report, each photo appears alongside the corresponding question and response. When you review a store visit, you see the finding and the visual evidence together, not a separate folder of untagged images you have to match manually.

Can we see how 100 stores responded to one specific question, with graphs?

The Analytics section lets you filter inspection data by question, location, date range, and response type across all your stores. You can view aggregated response distributions for a single question across every location that completed the form. Results display visually, so you can see at a glance what percentage of stores passed, failed, or flagged an issue on that specific check. You can also export this data for further analysis.

Is it possible to search by location and see past visit dates and main findings?

Yes. Completed inspections are stored and searchable by location. In the Analytics section and the Forms view, you can filter by site to pull up a history of every visit, including dates and results. Each completed inspection generates a report with scores, flagged items, and photos attached to the relevant questions. This gives you a searchable record: go to a store, see when you were last there, and review what the main findings were.

Can we filter the report to show only the negative results?

Yes. Lumiform’s Analytics section includes a Negative Response filter that isolates only the questions where issues were flagged across your inspections. You can apply this at the individual report level or across multiple locations. Instead of reviewing an entire audit to find the problems, you go straight to what failed. For brand compliance reviews, this lets you quickly identify which stores are out of standard without scrolling through every passing check.

If a store hasn’t fixed an issue, can we see that when we revisit?

Yes. When an issue is flagged during an inspection, a corrective action is created and tracked to completion. When you revisit a store, open actions from previous inspections remain visible and unresolved until someone closes them. This means you arrive at the store already knowing what was outstanding from the last visit. You can see the original finding, when it was raised, and whether any progress has been made, without relying on memory or manual notes.
