Ladder Inspection Form Template

The use of a checklist can be very beneficial when inspecting your ladder to ensure that it is safe to use. Look at the treads and rungs to make sure they are firm, secure, and free of any grease, paint, or other slick material that could result in a fall. Are all four feet firmly planted so that it stands on even ground? Have you either tied the ladder down or have a spotter ready to hold it in place while climbing? Make sure you follow the steps in the form below so that you can use your ladder without fear.
