Kristin Rieve and Noah Lotz manage the The Gate Garden Hotel with a particular focus on excellent guest service and efficient operations. They ensure that every guest feels welcome and well looked after, and they place particular emphasis on fulfilling individual customer requests and making their guests’ stay as pleasant as possible.

The need to create intuitive and unified workflows was evident to ensure that all tasks could be completed reliably and efficiently.

The solution

Kristin emphasizes that thanks to Lumiform, music, for example, is no longer forgotten: “In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, such little things can easily be overlooked, especially when guests are already waiting to check in or breakfast needs to be prepared. But these details, such as the appropriate background music, are crucial to the atmosphere. They are often underestimated, but they make a big difference to our guests’ overall experience.”

The checklists ensure that all tasks are clearly defined and nothing is overlooked. This structure is particularly important in a small team, as it facilitates collaboration and ensures that all members are on the same page.

Intuitive onboarding

Kristin and Noah are also enthusiastic about the software’s intuitiveness, especially when it comes to onboarding new employees. “The efficiency of onboarding has increased significantly,” says Noah. “New team members can go through the checklists independently and come to us with questions.
