You create a template, set a schedule, and the form appears as a pending task for the assigned user at the defined interval. Scheduled forms are tracked separately from ad-hoc inspections. Yes. In Lumiform, field workers on the mobile app see only the forms assigned to them. They cannot access templates outside their assignments. Roles and permissions are managed in the Administration section, where you control what each user can view and do. Field workers fill in inspection fields only. They cannot create or modify templates. Completed reports are not editable by the inspector after submission, which matches your requirement directly.
The Lumiform mobile app supports offline use. Field workers can conduct inspections and complete checklists without an active internet connection. The Outbox section of the app shows forms that are completed and waiting to be sent, including those delayed due to a poor connection. Once connectivity is restored, submissions sync automatically. When a field worker opens the form, Lumiform shows or hides questions based on the building’s attributes. You don’t duplicate templates or rebuild forms. Changes to the base template apply across all buildings instantly, while building-specific differences are managed through entity attributes.
Lumiform provides an API that allows completed inspection data to be passed to external systems. This means a completed elevator inspection could automatically flow into your ERP. API access is available as a paid add-on on the Professional plan or included in the Enterprise plan.
