Daily Pool Log Template

A pool log is used during daily pool maintenance checks by pool operators or managers. A record of findings and actions done during regular swimming pool checks, it helps ensure that all required information such as date, temperature, pH, etc. are recorded as required by state or local regulations. Use this template for the daily checks of swimming pools.

URGENT: Take action, retest, and use pool only if between 1.5 ppm - 10 ppm
Free Chlorine (ppm)
URGENT: Take action, retest, and use pool only if between 2.0 ppm - 10 ppm
Free Chlorine (ppm)
URGENT: Take action, retest, and use pool only if between 2.5 ppm - 10 ppm
• Combined Chlorine (ppm)
Conduct superchlorination by adding ten times the combined chlorine ppm

Raise the pH, add soda ash (sodium carbonate)
Lower the pH, add muriatic (hydrochloric) acid using a plastic container with water
