Oliver Hagner, Head of Fire Safety and Occupational Safety at Roth GmbH, shares his experiences of introducing Lumiform. He reports on how the digital solution has revolutionized his work processes and the benefits the company has achieved as a result.
The challenge
Before the introduction of Lumiform, the company often faced significant challenges in its work processes. The documentation and management of occupational safety measures was mainly done using Excel and other Office products, which meant an enormous investment of time. Manual image editing and large file uploads often led to delays and inefficiencies.
Oliver describes the situation: “The biggest factor was time. When you created an Office file or Excel list and fed it with checkpoints, you had to insert images and reduce them beforehand. This was very time-consuming.”
The need to find a more efficient and time-saving solution became more and more urgent to improve the quality of services and reduce administrative work.

The solution

The implementation
The implementation of Lumiform went smoothly and was carried out step by step. Initially, two employees tested the solution (which Oliver jokingly refers to as “guinea pigs” in our conversation) to gain initial experience and identify possible challenges.
After the successful test phase, Lumiform was then gradually rolled out across the entire company. Within four to six months, full implementation was complete, and the team was able to take full advantage of the new digital solution.

Results
The introduction of Lumiform brought significant benefits to the team, mainly in terms of massive time savings. Oliver emphasizes, “With Lumiform, we save at least 50 percent of the time we used to need for follow-up work.”
Since Oliver sets up and maintains the Lumiform software as an admin, as well as using it himself as a user, he has a particularly exciting view of the tool. As an admin, he particularly appreciates the AI-supported template creation. This feature allows him to quickly and accurately create and customize templates, significantly improving the quality and consistency of documentation. The AI support helps him ensure that all the necessary checkpoints are covered and that the templates are always kept up to date.
As a user, he is impressed by the intuitive operation of the app. In daily use, whether on construction sites or when conducting risk assessments, the app enables him to capture data quickly and easily. “The app is clear and user-friendly,” explains Oliver. “I can enter all the necessary information directly on site and have the documentation ready immediately.”
Oliver reports that his team was also able to quickly get to grips with the software, even if they had previously done little digital work: “The app is super easy to use and has made it much easier for everyone to get started.”

Outlook and recommendations
