For staff without mobile devices, Lumiform also works via desktop browser, so they can participate in workflows, receive notifications, and complete assigned actions without a mobile device. You do not need to procure new hardware before starting. The mix of mobile and browser access covers teams where device availability varies across roles or locations.

Notifications go out by email as well as inside the Lumiform platform. A team member without a mobile device or app access can receive an email alert when an action is assigned to them or a form requires their input. They can also access Lumiform through a browser. Staff who only work from a desktop or rely on email are not excluded from the workflow and do not become a gap in your CAPA traceability chain.

Report layouts are configurable. You build the form template using a no-code builder, and the report output reflects the structure you define. It’s also possible to upload a Word template following your branding. You can tailor which fields appear, how sections are organized, and what the final PDF looks like. If management needs to preserve a specific layout format that matches 10 years of historical records, you can replicate that structure in the template builder. The layout is not fixed by default; it follows the template you configure

Yes. Every reassignment is logged in the audit trail with a timestamp and the names of the people involved. If a CAPA action moves from one responsible person to another, that transfer is recorded. You can see who owned the task, when they passed it on, and what actions were taken at each stage.

Yes. Lumiform integrates with common ERP and QMS platforms through API connections and webhooks. You can sync CAPA data, push inspection findings into your existing system, or pull master data like asset lists and employee records.
