Trusted by operations, quality, and safety teams worldwide to improve compliance

Process gaps causing errors and delays in daily work
Inconsistent standards across shifts
No clear proof work was completed correctly
Instructions are difficult to find and understand
How Lumiform handles work instructions
Managers build structured instructions tied to machines, sites, or tasks. Field teams complete them on mobile, and deviations trigger tracked actions, with every result feeding into reports.
1. Build instructions tied to specific tasks

2. Complete instructions on mobile in the field

3. Flag deviations and assign corrective actions

4. Analyze results across machines and shifts

Industries that run operations on structured work instructions
These industries rely on consistent, verifiable work instructions to maintain quality, meet compliance requirements, and keep field teams working without delays.

Manufacturing
Your machine operators follow setup instructions tied to specific product and equipment combinations, with required fields and measured values saved in quality records and deviation reports.

Field service & maintenance
Technicians working across multiple sites receive pre-assigned tasks with the correct form, address, and materials checklist, so they arrive knowing exactly what to do and what to hand over on completion.

Construction
Site supervisors issue phase-specific work instructions to subcontractors, with enforced sign-off and approval steps before teams can progress, replacing the manual tick-sheet handed out at project kick-offs.

Logistics & warehousing
Shift teams complete equipment checks and loading procedures against standardized instructions, with deviations flagged immediately and routed to the shift manager.

Facilities management
Your property surveyors and maintenance crews receive location-specific instructions with pre-loaded address and unit data, removing manual re-entry and ensuring the right protocol is completed.

Energy & utilities
Your field engineers follow safety-critical operating procedures on tablets, including offline, with mandatory completion checks and digital signatures before closing out work orders on high-risk equipment.

Common questions
Yes. The Lumiform mobile app works fully offline on iOS and Android tablets. Field workers complete inspections, capture photos, and submit forms without an internet connection. Data syncs automatically once the device reconnects. This covers the reality of production floors, construction sites, and remote facilities where connectivity is unreliable. No inspection data is lost due to a dropped connection, and workers do not need to wait for a signal to continue their work.
When a form is submitted, Lumiform automatically generates a PDF report containing all completed fields, photos, annotations, scores, and any corrective actions triggered during the inspection. The report is structured and audit-ready, with options for customizing. Managers can access it immediately from the desktop dashboard or receive it by email.
Yes. Lumiform supports digital signatures on both mobile devices and desktop, allowing workers, supervisors, and other stakeholders to sign off completed work instructions, inspections, and approvals electronically. Signatures are stored together with the completed record, creating a clear history of who signed, when they signed, and what was approved.
Yes. Lumiform supports role-based access controls that restrict what each user can see and interact with. You can configure subcontractors to access only the forms, templates, and tasks assigned to them. They will not see forms belonging to other contractor types or internal teams. This applies both to the form library and to submitted results. Each contractor type sees only their own scope, which prevents cross-visibility and keeps sensitive operational data separated by role.
Yes. You can configure forms in Lumiform so that mandatory fields must be completed before the inspection can be submitted. If a required item is left blank, the system blocks submission and prompts the user to complete it. This applies to any field type, including text inputs, photo captures, and signature fields.
Yes. When an inspection flags a deviation, Lumiform creates a corrective action that stays open and visible in the system until it is formally resolved. Managers can see all open actions on the desktop dashboard. The action is not automatically closed when the inspection is submitted. It requires a deliberate resolution step, either by the assigned person marking it done or by an approver closing it out.
A technician can open the Lumiform mobile app and see all forms and tasks assigned to them, including those tied to specific projects or entities. The project manager assigns which forms apply to which project and which technician needs to complete them. The technician does not need to search through a full template library. They see their pending and assigned forms directly on the home screen.
Lumiform supports entities, which are structured data objects such as a project, site, or asset, that can carry pre-defined attributes. When a form is linked to an entity, relevant details associated with that entity are available within the inspection. Automatic pre-filling of shared header fields depends on how your forms and entities are configured.
Yes. Project managers can assign specific forms and templates to individual users or groups, scoped to a particular project or entity. Not every technician sees every form. The manager controls which checklists are required for a given project and assigns them accordingly.
